Once you've extracted the files, you'll need to unzip the contents of the 'Fate_Hollow_Ataraxia.pkg' folder. You'll be presented with a folder called 'Hollow Ataraxia' or simply 'Hollow'. This is where the voice patch is located.
It includes a great deal of new content, so it's a great way to begin your Fate/Hollow Ataraxia adventure.
To install the patch, you'll need to install the English Patch from the PS Vita version. It's in the same location on the Vita's memory card. (Note: The Vita version will also install the English patch if it's not already there.)
You'll also need the included '.pkg' file which you can find on the main page. You'll need to extract this file (make sure you have the.pkg program).
When extracting the '.pkg' file, you'll need to extract the contents of the file to the root of the memory card. The folder will be 'PSP/GAME/' and the name of the '.pkg' file will be 'Fate_Hollow_Ataraxia.pkg'.
To install the patch:
Open your PS Vita memory card on your computer
Open the 'Hollow' folder on the memory card
Select the 'Voice Patch' folder
Select the 'Voice Patch Installer.bin' file
Press the 'Install' button on your PS Vita
When you extract the contents of the 'Hollow' folder you'll have two sub-folders, 'Saved' and 'Voice Patch'. The 'Voice Patch' folder contains the voice patch files and the 'Saved' folder contains files for viewing the patches after they have been applied.
The Fate/Hollow Ataraxia Voice Patch is an unofficial patch that includes the latest version of the English Patch as well as much of the unique content from the the PS Vita version of Fate/hollow ataraxia, including Japanese voice acting for the characters, resulting in a more immersive experience. It also adds alternative versions of a few scenes which can be viewed after completing them.
While the most important part of the patch is the voice acting, it is a worthwhile download for any who wish to play the game in English. This is especially the case with the newly released Japanese version of Fate/Zero, with English voice acting for all of the main cast and some extras in the (admittedly small) cast. The English voice acting in the alternative version of the opening and ending is the result of a collaboration between many fans of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia from across the world. This patch is their creation and they are responsible for the voice acting included in this patch. The commercial versions of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia do not include the alternative version of these opening and ending songs.
